Derived from renewable sources, these nanofibers offer numerous advantages such as biodegradability, biocompatibility, and low environmental impact. The unique properties of biopolymer-based nanofibers, including high surface area, mechanical strength, and tunable porosity, make them suitable for a wide range of applications in various fields. Their potential use spans from biomedical applications such as drug delivery systems and tissue engineering scaffolds to environmentally friendly packaging materials, filtration membranes, and wearable electronics.
